Two new cases

 Staff Reporter: Aizawl, Feb 11:

Mizoram today reported two new cases of COVID-19 as two 18-year-olds tested positive pushing the state’s tally to 4,390.

 

The two new cases were detected from RAgT while samples tested at Truenat labs in district hospitals and Zoram Medical College’s RT-PCR lab turned out negative, an official statement said.

 

Lunglei and Lawngtlai reported one new case each. One was symptomatic while the other was asymptomatic.

 

Mizoram’s active case now stood at 22 while a total of 4,359 people have recovered from the disease so far. Mizoram has so far nine COVID-19 fatalities, the lowest in India.

 

Among the 11 districts, Aizawl has the highest number of active cases at 15, followed by LAwngthlai with four active cases and Lunglei has three active cases. The remaining districts have no active cases.
