Online exhibition cum National Horticultural Fair 2021 was held today for ATARI Zone VII which which consist of Mizoram as well as Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura state with panellist of Director IIHR Bengaluru, Director ATARI Zone VII and Director Horticulture of specified state. In this regards, KVK Aizawl also participated with 100 nos. of progressive farmers. The programme was full informative among the farmers with latest variety and technology of different horticultural crops developed by IIHR Bengaluru.
The webcast programme was highlighted with Dr. K. P. Chaudhary Senior Scientist & Head. The farmer’s queries along with availability of IIHR Seed answered by Dr. Santosh Kumar Mishra SMS Horticulture & Mr Lalvensanga Pachuau. During this programme Mr. Lawmkima progressive farmers of Shiphir, Aizawl district his success story on cultivation of tomato variety Arka Rakshak developed by IIHR Bengaluru was also telecasted.
