An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit northeast of Fayzabad in Afghanistan on Thursday morning.

 

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit northeast of Fayzabad in Afghanistan on Thursday morning.

 

According to National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt around 12.02 am. The earthquake was measured at depth of 135 kms on the Richter scale.

 

"Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale hit northeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan," NCS was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

 

However, there were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
