Dr Lalrozama, Deputy Commissioner of Mamit district visited Kanhmun screening point today to take stock of the situation which borders with Assam and Tripura.
Kanhmun being one of the lifeline of goods for the State, the police duty personnel at Medili and Damcherra Gate also met with the DC mentioning nothing untoward circumstances has happened and all goods and people entering from the other side of the state are being screened from 10am to 3pm in normal conditions and extended in emergency situations.
Kanhmun screening points stations 2 Medical Officers, 2 lab. Technicians, 2 Covid Helpers, 2 Data entry operators and 2 health workers to handle the screening point.
DC handed Rs. 90,000/- for construction of temporary isolation room for positive patients before they are transported to CCC in the District HQ. DC Mamit was accompanied by DIPRO Mamit and BDO Zawlnuam. He was received by VLTF of Kanhmun village.
