All Mask Campaign was inaugurated in Aizawl District on Monday by Aizawl DC Dr. Lalhriatzuali Ralte in Aizawl DC Complex.
At the program, Dr. Lalhriatzuali Ralte said she was happy to launch a program that promotes the use of masks. She said the use of masks is the cheapest way of protection against Covid19 and that following government guidelines is for one's safety.
She talked about the initiatives taken by the government against Covid19 saying the government tried its best, and released various SOPs. She also stressed that the government was given good support by the VLTF, LLTF as well as the public. The DC said they deeply regret the loss of three task force members from Aizawl District. Dr. Lalhriatzuali Ralte said apart from the use of masks, it is also important that we get vaccinated. The program was chaired by Additional DC K.Vanlalruati. Certificates were handed out to 12 Aizawl City Local Council Association, Joint NGO and MKHC members.
After the All Mask Campaign was launched, awareness announcements were made using loudspeakers in Treasury Square regarding the correct use of masks, the importance of using masks and the necessity of using clean masks.
