A Covid-19 Mass Sample testing is being conducted in Siaha town from 11:00 am today.

A mast testing is being conducted under the initiative taken by Siaha MLA and Minister Dr K Beichhua in view of the surge of Covid-19 case in Siaha district.

Mass test was conducted in various places of Siaha town by the Medical team accompanied by respective VLTF as follows: 1. New Colony-II Anganwadi Centre. Observers - Dr. Ngursangzuali, MO, RBSK and Dr. Joseph Lalmalsawma, MO, RBSK.

2. New Siaha East-I&II MYA Multipurpose Hall and SchoolII Field. Observer - Dr. Zomuankimi, MO, RBSK.

3. New Siaha West-I&II at Baptist Kohhran Hall and Integrated Mass Transit Terminal. Observer - Dr. Zomuankimi, MO, RBSK.

4. Siaha Vaihpi-I&II at Vaihpi Field Pavilion. Observers - Dr. Ngursangzuali, MO, RSBK and Lalawmpuii, Clinical Psychologist, Mental.

5. Siahatlâ at Bazar shed. Observer - S. Laltanpuii, Consultant, NTCP.

6. Meisavaih East at Meisavaih Community Hall. Observer - Dr. Jerry B. Lalremtluanga, MO, RBSK.

7. College vaih-I&II at VLTF Duty Post and VC house, AOC. Observer - Eric C. Lalchhanchhuaha, Physiotherapist, NCD.

Officials from Aizawl who went to Siaha to conduct Covid19 Mass Testing are Dr. Pachuau Lalmalsawma, State Nodal Officer, Covid-19 & IDSP; Lalfakzuala Pautu, Entomologist, IDSP Operation Incharge, State Field Laboratory Unit, IDSP, DHS; David Lalhmachhuana, Data Analyst and 22 Laboratory Technicians and 18 Data Entry Operators.

All the travelling expenditures are provided by Dr K Beichhua, Minister and MLA of Siaha Constituency.

Covid-19 Mass testing is to be continuing tomorrow and onwards according to the needs. No test results are published till the news is written.
